Polymer materials elastic properties allow to cover smooth or moulded surfaces but the scratch-resistance characteristic is much inferior than other materials. It is a thermo-plastic material and, therefore, it is not much heat resistant: it softens with temperatures between 75 and 95°C. However, it allows many aesthetic solutions ranging from matt, polishes or wood imitations.
